Meal planning has helped me cook more meals, healthy meals at home. Without meal planning, our eating habits would be a mess. 

I started meal planning years ago out of necessity. Being a busy mom, needing to cook from scratch because of my daughter’s food allergies, I was suddenly dropped into a sink or swim situation. We had to stop eating out for a while to figure this out. It wasn’t easy. 

I tried many different forms of meal planning and even ready-made meal plans. But so many didn’t fit our life or our food allergies. And meal planning on my own took so very long. It was frustrating. 

But finally, I developed a way to meal plan that was easy. It only took a few minutes a week, so it was doable even as a busy mom. So I know this system can work for you too.

I think your tips were spot on! Menu planning has helped me so much, but sometimes I run of out ideas for meals and end up having the same things over and over again. I now have a collection of recipes to draw from each week when I make my menu. ~Emma
